How it plays

One line, and the decision is already made.

  1. Draw a straight line and the organ is cut in two along it
  2. The half holding the core stays; the other half and its lesions are discarded
  3. Healthy tissue you cut away adds up as loss. Fill the loss bar and you die
  4. Lesions crawl toward the core and keep growing. If one reaches the core, you die
  5. What you cut off slowly grows back. The dashed line is the original outline

Half a lesion does not count as cleared. One cut through two lesions beats two separate cuts.

A pale blade line drawn across the organ, clear of every vessel.
The blade is clearThe line stays pale. Release, and the cut lands.
A blade line crossing a vessel, drawn in red because the cut is refused.
The blade is on a vesselThe line turns red. Releasing does nothing.

Layer kinds

Five constraints, no new controls.

Plain

Clear every lesion.

Vessels

A blade touching a bright line does not cut; the line turns red.

Multi-core

Every bright core must stay on the same side.

One cut

A single cut, and it must clear everything.

Splitting

Lesions divide in two every few seconds.

Order of the first twelve layers

1 Vessels · 2 Plain · 3 Plain · 4 Vessels · 5 Plain · 6 Multi-core · 7 Splitting · 8 Plain · 9 One cut · 10 Multi-core · 11 Vessels · 12 Splitting

Layer 1: vessels crossing the organ, four lesions around the core.
Layer 1 · VesselsThree chords block a whole range of angles.
Layer 7: a splitting layer, lesions dividing while the timer runs.
Layer 7 · SplittingStall and there are more of them.

Tables

Four tables, and a case that is the same for everyone.

01

Campaign

Layer by layer, deeper each time.

02

Sculpt table

No lesions. Carve the organ down to a given shape.

03

Endless table

Lesions keep surfacing. You last as long as you last.

04

Mirror table

Two organs, one blade. The right takes the mirrored cut.

05

Training table

Lock one kind and repeat it. Depth still climbs.

06

Daily challenge

The date is the seed. Everyone plays the same run.

The mirror table: two organs side by side sharing one cut.

The endless table: lesions surfacing at the rim of a single organ.
